This is a half-year report of the Best Practices Team. Read on to find out about our efforts so far, and think about how you can get involved.

The Motivation Research Team now is an official team, has a new name, and is growing.

Transform Africa Summit (TAS) is the continent's flagship conference on strategic digital transformation. The event took place in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, in April 2023. TYPO3 was also there, along with heads of state, government ministers, directors of national agencies and many more relevant stakeholders.

GitLab 15.7 and newer ships with a built-in TYPO3 template for gitlab.com and self-hosted instances. The template is aimed at professionals and includes a deployment workflow using Composer and GitLab CI.

The TYPO3 Community Sprint provides a great opportunity for connecting with other teams from the community and beyond. This can be attributed, in large part, to the TYPO3 GmbH team and their CEO, Daniel Fau, who not only supported a smooth process (lodging, catering, barista coffee, and more), but also actively created opportunities for cooperation.

The 9th e-Governance Conference, held in Tallinn, Estonia, on 30–31 May, 2023 was a landmark event for global digital governance. TYPO3 had a prominent place as a leading content management system (CMS) in the context of digital sovereignty. We emphasized TYPO3’s ability to empower governments and organizations to maintain control over their digital infrastructures.

About the Open Letter to the European Union and FOSS CMS Collaboration. This is the first combined Drupal, Joomla, TYPO3, and Wordpress community meeting.

Over the last few months, we have focused on creating a more convenient workflow for ourselves and our users. We implemented several improvements and were able to remove another outdated service.

The TYPO3 Awards are back and the winners will be presented during the big Award Ceremony of T3CON23! Did you just finish an outstanding TYPO3 project in 2021, 2022 or 2023? We are looking for impressive websites with challenging implementations, enchanting designs and any other awardworthy features that showcase TYPO3’s flexibility and strengths.

TYPO3 Core development depends on continuous contributions from the TYPO3 community, making the product better. Each year, an application and selection process adds new members to the team that shapes the future of TYPO3's Core.
