The TYPO3 Community Sprint provides a great opportunity for connecting with other teams from the community and beyond. This can be attributed, in large part, to the TYPO3 GmbH team and their CEO, Daniel Fau, who not only supported a smooth process (lodging, catering, barista coffee, and more), but also actively created opportunities for cooperation.

The 9th e-Governance Conference, held in Tallinn, Estonia, on 30–31 May, 2023 was a landmark event for global digital governance. TYPO3 had a prominent place as a leading content management system (CMS) in the context of digital sovereignty. We emphasized TYPO3’s ability to empower governments and organizations to maintain control over their digital infrastructures.

Over the last few months, we have focused on creating a more convenient workflow for ourselves and our users. We implemented several improvements and were able to remove another outdated service.

TYPO3 Core development depends on continuous contributions from the TYPO3 community, making the product better. Each year, an application and selection process adds new members to the team that shapes the future of TYPO3's Core.

I really didn’t know what to expect when I decided to go to my first code sprint at TYPO3 HQ. I had been to a few TYPO3 bar camps before so I knew a few faces and names, and I had already met Lina Wolf (the head of the Documentation Team) online when I attended a Documentation Team meeting.

With the help of a new member, we are actively working on the TYPO3 Content Blocks Core patch for v13. The team has also undergone changes in the leadership.

Every year we re-evaluate the Core development workflow and open up for new people to join the effort to drive the TYPO3 Core development further. Maybe this year is your year to join?
