Later than usual we announce the TYPO3 Developer Days for this year. Fetch your calendars as they will be held from July 4th to July 7th in Hamburg. The concept for the TYPO3 Developer Days is going towards tutorials in combination with workshops and we are looking forward to “get things done”.

At the beginning of 2013 the Expert Advisory Board decided about the budget and gave an explanation about the allocation of the budgets for 2013. The budget allocation for the Neos project was re-discussed after initially being rejected by the team. A solution was found by allocating budget to work-packages that will drive the development of TYPO3 Neos.

For the past week some 70 TYPO3 enthusiasts met in Zell am See in Austria for the TYPO3 Snowboard tour. On the 2000 meter high Schmittenhöhe there was plenty of snow accompanied by some exciting presentations. Jan Christe of T3N magazine gives some insights into the community event.

About a week ago we were briefed by the TYPO3 Association's EAB on the 2013 budget for the Neos and Flow project. The budget was reduced by 50% compared to the original application. TYPO3 Usergroup Romania Meetup 2012, was a great success with 50 developers participating from all over Romania on December 8-9. The meeting was held in Cluj-Napoca, which is the second most populous city in Romania.
