For the third time TYPO3 has been accepted as mentoring organisation for Google's Summer of Code program. Get ready to submit your project proposals!

The next Bug Day will take place on March 25, 2011. It will be dedicated to helping as many contributors as possible get started with Git and Gerrit.

Today we submitted the application of TYPO3 as a mentoring organisation for this year's GSoC program. We are rather positive about being accepted again, and thus ask you to be active already!

TYPO3 was awarded a spot at the CeBIT Open Source Lounge for this year and occupied a small booth from the 1st until the 5th of March. The Open Source Lounge is sponsored by CeBIT. We shared a larger area with other Open Source projects like Enlightenment, VLC, XAMPP and Plone.

Early registration, a list of talks and accommodation recommendations for T3CON11-San Francisco are now posted on the conference web site (t3con11-sf.typo3.org). By registering early you will save off the regular conference admission price.

The latest Bug Day was a bit unusual, but still very efficient.

TYPO3 will be present at CeBIT, the digital industry's biggest event in Hannover from March 1st until March 5th at the Open Source Project Lounge in Hall 2, Booth F44

Some months ago, we were looking for a solution to put forums on typo3.org that synchronize with our newsgroups. Now, we're a big step ahead, the technical solution is running, but: Now we need a design!

The main TYPO3 website typo3.org needs a new lay-out, a new structure and new functionality. The "typo3.org Relaunch Week" (T3O) will take place from April 16-23 in the Linuxhotel, Essen, Germany and is aimed at just that. 20 experts will work on the project in that week and we need you to participate to complete this huge task we have ahead of us.
