The TYPO3 Association (T3A) communicates the results of the 2015 elections for the Expert Advisory Board (EAB) and Business Control Committee (BCC). The TYPO3 Association gladly welcomes the new members and thanks the leaving ones for their commitment and collaboration in the past years.
The TYPO3 Association elections that took place between March 21 and April 4 2015, have given the following results:
Elected T3A Expert Advisory Board members:
Boris Hinzer
Boris lives with his wife and two sons in Erkelenz, near Mönchengladbach in Germany. He is the manager of the web agency web-vision. Boris and his agency have been strongly involved with TYPO3 in the recent years and are currently working on the TYPO3 Merchandising Shop. Since 2012, Boris has been the team leader of the TYPO3 Editorial Team. He is also part of the TYPO3 Marketing Team, of the Education Committee, and is also one of the recently introduced TYPO3 Mentors. With his presence at the EAB Boris wants to help the TYPO3 Association in achieving its goals and to pave the way for strong and healthy TYPO3 projects.
Peter Pröll
Peter is an independent TYPO3 consultant and freelancer and has been a T3A Board member already from 2009 and 2012. He has then been elected member of the EAB; this year he can reconfirm his presence and support for this T3A body. The TYPO3 Education Committee also counts on Peter as active and engaged leader. With his presence at the EAB Peter wants to bring the T3A to a new and higher stage in the upcoming two years.
Chris Zepernick
Chris is known to the TYPO3 world as @swiftlizard; he is managing partner and COO of WMDB Systems GmbH, a company that strongly believes in TYPO3 as well as the Open Source concept. Chris has been with the TYPO3 Community since 2003 and was one of the first members of the Hamburg Chapter of the TYPO3 Community together with other active contributors. With his presence at the EAB Chris wants to collaborate to a transparent budget-handling system for the whole community and wants to be available to the community members as contact person for the collection of suggestions on varied TYPO3-related topics. His wish is to have a more including and diverse community that gets more people involved in shaping our great products.
Elected T3A Business Control Committee members:
Ingo Schmitt
Ingo has been involved with web-development for over 20 years and since 1996 he works at Marketing Factory Consulting GmbH in Düsseldorf, where he is CTO and shareholder. Ingo reconfirms his role at the BCC, where he has been active for 4 years now. Ingo believes in the TYPO3 Community and in its products. His contribution to the project is something of crucial importance to him. With his presence at the BCC Ingo wants to share his expertise in accounting, taxes, and controlling to the organization.
Roberto Torresani
Roberto is the Italian of the TYPO3 Association crew. He is a TYPO3 user since 2005 and founder of Posit, a web agency based in Trento, which also basis projects on TYPO3 Flow. Roberto has been with the BCC for two years already, he is actively engaged in the organization of TYPO3camp Italia, and is one of the new introduced TYPO3 mentors. Roberto, just like Ingo, wants to share his expertise in accounting, taxes, and controlling to the organization.
To the candidates that haven't been elected, a thank you for your willingness to take an official position within the TYPO3 Association. We hope you will nominate yourself again in the future and wish you all the best.
