The month of May saw the kick-off for TYPO3 version 6.0 with a first alpha release of version 6.0 and two FLOW3 beta releases.

The TYPO3 Core Development Team and the TYPO3 Community is proud to present a sneak preview of the next TYPO3 Version 6.0

The relaunch of typo3.org kicked of the month of April. The seventh edition of the TYPO3 Developer Days took place from April 12 - 15, 2012 at MACE, Unterföhring near Munich, Germany and the month closed with the release of TYPO3 version 4.7 on April 24.

As already announced, the release of TYPO3 6.0 will be this fall. To be precise: We scheduled the final release to be on 27th of October this year.

The twelfth Edition of the T3BOARD will be in Austria next year! For the second time we'll be on the Schmittenhöhe Hotel near Zell am See. This time we made sure that we'll be early in the season so that we'll have powder-runs instead of water-skiing ;-).

Generally the TYPO3 Developer Days 2012 were very motivating, we talked to lots of people and had a very positive and intense time. Finally, it feels like FLOW3 is getting real and people start to gasp that Phoenix is at the horizon.

March had three main events. CeBIT in Hannover, the FLOW3 conference in Rosenheim and the typo3.org relaunch sprint, which resulted in the relaunch of typo3.org on April 2.
