The TYPO3 Association announces a comprehensive beginners’ guide for web publishing with TYPO3 CMS. Published by New York City-based publishers Apress, the guidebook is intended to spearhead international adoption of the open-source, enterprise content management system.

The TYPO3 community ended up with a budget surplus in a year when many other open source projects have been struggling. We’re delighted to announce that the TYPO3 Project has given donations to three vital projects: Symfony Framework, PHPUnit Testing Framework and Packagist/Composer.

A lot of things have happened since our last update in July 2020. We’ve made progress on UX concepts, on content blocks creation, and on rendering strategies. Here is some important information about our latest achievements.

The TYPO3 Extension Repository now includes the status of translations for extensions drawn from Crowdin. This is an exciting development because TYPO3 is an international community. Previously, it was difficult to find out the status of translation for particular extensions, and now it is publicly available for all users to see.
