The call for community budget ideas for the fourth quarter of 2025 was successful: Nine of nine ideas have made it to the poll. These ideas can now be discussed and TYPO3 Association members can cast their vote.

During the first half of 2025, the TYPO3 Community Expansion Committee continued its efforts to promote TYPO3 internationally, focusing on institutional adoption, strategic partnerships, and public-sector digital transformation.

The Business Control Committee (BCC) can report significant progress for the member-selected projects funded by the TYPO3 Association: Rector rules, Seamless Deployment, Component-Based Frontends in Fluid, and Translation System Modernization.

The TYPO3 Association has officially launched the fourth community budget process of 2025.

As of 15 July 2025, the TYPO3 Association has received official approval from the CVE Program to operate as a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA). Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) Records are part of the global cybersecurity infrastructure. They provide a shared, standardized reference for identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.

The central theme of the 11th e-Governance Conference was "From Bytes to Benefits: Raising Prosperity Through Digital Transformation." Held in Tallinn, Estonia, 27–29 May 2025, the event aimed to shift the focus from seeing digitalization as just a way to improve efficiency to understanding how it can drive real economic growth and societal value.

The TYPO3 Association member poll for the Q3/2025 budget ideas has been finished and this time five winning ideas will be funded by the TYPO3 Association.

In February 2025, TYPO3 Association President Olivier Dobberkau was appointed President of the Open Website Alliance (OWA). The term rotates between the alliance members, and TYPO3 is currently leading the alliance during its six-month presidency.
