Exchange on Slack
Most of the daily support and feedback about Content Blocks during 2024 reached us through TYPO3 Slack. Many features and fixes were implemented thanks to valuable hints shared by the community in real-time. This collaborative effort even allowed us to identify and fix Core bugs, showcasing the strength of working together.
You can always reach out to us in the #cig-structuredcontent channel on Slack, where lively discussions and insightful exchanges happen. We’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback on how Content Blocks have sped up content element creation and made daily workflows smoother for many users.
Meet us at TYPO3 Camps
In 2024, the Content Types Team attended nearly every TYPO3 camp to share updates and gather feedback. Here are some of the camps we visited:

We delivered presentations on the concept of Content Blocks and conducted hands-on sessions. Both activities attracted significant interest and generated a lot of positive feedback. These camps provided us with great moments of collaboration, where we exchanged ideas and gathered valuable input for the project. We encourage everyone to attend TYPO3 camps — it’s a fantastic way to connect with other developers and, of course, to discuss Content Blocks with us directly.
Find us at User Group Events
Beyond TYPO3 camps, user group events were another excellent opportunity to meet us. Throughout the year, we spent evenings and long nights presenting the Content Blocks concept and offering practical tips for working with them.

… And a Lot More Ways We Connected
Our journey didn’t stop there. In 2024, we also presented at the TYPO3 University Days in Leipzig (watch the recording), showcasing what’s coming and what’s possible with the new Content Blocks feature. At the TYPO3 Developer Days, while we didn’t hold a formal talk, we engaged with attendees during breaks and discussions, exchanging ideas and receiving invaluable feedback.
One highlight was the TYPO3 release party livestream, where we had the privilege of presenting the new Content Blocks feature to the wider community. These moments of connection have been a source of joy for our team.
What’s Next?
Our work doesn’t stop here. We’re continuing to merge more and more features for TYPO3 v14 and are currently working on a dedicated Content Blocks GUI. These enhancements aim to make working with Content Blocks even more intuitive and powerful.
