The TYPO3 CMS Certified Consultant Task Force has been working to update the certification program for TYPO3 v13 LTS. Our goal is to keep consultants up to speed with TYPO3 v13 LTS, so they can apply best practices and help clients make the most of the latest features.

Certification Sprint: Preparing for TYPO3 v13 LTS

The TYPO3 CMS Certified Consultant Task Force gathered just before Christmas 2024 to update and advance the TYPO3 CMS Certified Consultant Certification. We met in Munich at the offices of queonext, a TYPO3 Solution Partner and Platinum Member. The focus of this sprint was preparing the certification for the release of TYPO3 v13 LTS, ensuring that the program remains relevant and fully compatible with the latest advancements in TYPO3.

Team Effort: Refining the Certification Program

The task force included Lennart Ruschlau (wendweb, Hannover), Kerstin Nägler (Dataport, Hamburg), Knud Frank (supseven, Vienna), and Korbinian Kugelmann (queonext, Munich). Together, we concentrated our efforts on refining and extending the syllabus and updating the question pool to reflect the new features and changes in TYPO3 v13 LTS. By doing so, we aim to provide consultants with the tools they need to support clients on the latest TYPO3 version confidently.

This meeting reinforces our commitment to ensuring the TYPO3 CMS Certified Consultant Certification is both thorough and practical, ensuring the necessary skills for consultants to excel in their roles. With the release of TYPO3 v13 LTS, it is essential to adapt the certification program to keep pace with the evolving TYPO3 CMS.
