Last Bug Day was very active, certainly boosted by the progress on the upcoming TYPO3 4.5.

On the 27th of December we will be releasing 4.5 Beta3. The translation work can begin if you haven 't started already.

FLOW3, the TYPO3 community’s upcoming PHP framework, will take part in the Plat_Forms 2011 programming competition, taking place January 18th to 19th, 2011 in Nuremberg, Germany. It will compete against Ruby on Rails, Java and Perl, among others.

The TYPO3 Core Team announces versions 4.2.16, 4.3.9 and 4.4.5 of the TYPO3 Enterprise Content Management System.

typo3.org has seen several incarnations and some serious attempts for a relaunch. The last relaunch was stopped due to the fact that more than an optical brush-up was needed. This article gives you some insight in the history of typo3.org.

How Scrum drives project management of TYPO3 version 5. Since the new PHP-Framework FLOW3 that forms the basis for the upcoming TYPO3, is sufficiently stable, the TYPO3-team concentrates more on the development of TYPO3 5, code name Phoenix since the beginning of this year. On March 21st 2010 the TYPO3-Phoenix team's decided to plan and develop the new TYPO3 version more agile with the help of the Scrum principle.
