On September 20th and 21st the first TYPO3 University meeting was held in Darmstadt, Germany. Over 100 participants from Swiss, Austrian and German schools and universities were gathering at the Hochschule Darmstadt to discuss their contributions and involvement in the TYPO3 project.

The world's largest TYPO3 Conference (T3CON16) will be taking place on October 26 and 27. Under the motto “Make innovation happen,” around 500 IT executives, marketing managers, web developers, designers and editors from around the world will be meeting in Munich in the 12th year of the event to learn more about the latest and future-oriented developments and application examples that pertain to the topics of content management and the web. TYPO3 GmbH and its activities will also be presented to the general public for the first time. The Microsoft Azure Partner platform.sh who will be hosting TYPO3 CMS 8.0 in the cloud will also be making an announcement.

The budgetary process 2017 officially starts on September 19, 2016.

Good news for move:elevator – effective immediately, the full-service agency is a TYPO3 Platinum Member. This is the highest member status the TYPO3 Association can award. move:elevator has already realised about 100 projects with this worldwide successful CMS.
