In 2020—we, as the Marketing Team—decided and announced that we wanted to focus on creating a variety of fact and figure-based materials, which should help agencies sell TYPO3 better. Our biggest project was to create the Comparison Cards, comparing TYPO3 to the most popular alternatives on the market.

The TYPO3 Documentation Team is continuously working on improving the TYPO3 documentation—keeping it up to date, finding new and better ways to document and—equally important—removing outdated information.

By night, Andri Steiner is the TYPO3 Server Team Lead, where he focuses on hosting and configuring servers, and keeping the community’s digital infrastructure up-(to-date) and running. By day, he’s a CTO and Partner at Ops One, living and working in Zürich, Switzerland, where, he says, “We do our own web applications, like backends for mobile apps, or usual websites or whatever our customers want us for.”

Mathias Schreiber’s journey to become the CEO of the TYPO3 GmbH was not especially purposeful, but that’s part of what makes it so fascinating. He talks about how he first became aware of TYPO3, participating in the open source community, his abrupt transition to CEO, and the values that guide the TYPO3 GmbH today.

Meet Patrick Gaumond, Technical Lead of Québec.ca, the government website of the French-speaking Canadian province and the entire population’s official source for Covid-19-related information. During the pandemic, the site’s been handling a million or more hits a day with no downtime at all. Patrick has been proudly flying the TYPO3 flag since 2003, and today we talk about why he's chosen to stay with it all this time.
