A special year comes to an end. The typo3.org Team can look back on a good year, as many projects and tasks were completed, even though there was only one in-person Team Sprint.

Meet Felicity Brand, TYPO3 Guidebook author on this special episode of Application, the TYPO3 Community Podcast. We chat about her background in technical writing, how technical writing is a structured creative process, and her experience in joining the TYPO3 community. Felicity has spent more than the last year on a project for and with the TYPO3 community creating the TYPO3 Guidebook. In this podcast, we get to explore the book, how it came into being, and how this caused Felicity to “fall for the TYPO3 community.”

Let’s not beat around the bush: 2020 was—mildly speaking—a tough year. The reasons which made the current year so terrible are evident. However, we don’t want to linger on the negative but instead focus on the positive things that these rather exceptional circumstances created.

Meet Rachel Foucard, TYPO3 Community Lead in France, on episode one of Application, the TYPO3 Community Podcast. We talk about building relationships with clients and the agency sales cycle today, selling solutions rather than tools, and being part of the international TYPO3 community. Rachel is also the UX lead in the TYPO3 Structured Content Initiative, a member of the TYPO3 Association Board, and CTO of the W-Seils agency in Nantes.
