Team Lead Thomas Löffler and Product Owner Stefan Busemann give us an inside look at the relaunch project of typo3.org, extensions.typo3.org and my.typo3.org

The TYPO3 France Committee has migrated the TYPO3.fr website to the official typo3.com international website. TYPO3 French fans will now benefit from up-to-date information in French.

The title “This Month in TYPO3” might sound familiar to you as there has been a blog post series “This Week in TYPO3” by Ben van’t Ende a couple of years ago. We want to revive this concept and present you on a monthly basis what happened in the TYPO3 community and ecosystem in recent weeks.

"Getting a lot of inspiration in a non-conventional environment” was the conclusion of visitors after the sixth TYPO3 Camp Venlo that took place at 8th, 9th and 10th of March at Domani. With a interactive talk about communication, the launch of TYPO3x Bynder, a hard quiz about PHP and a bright future for TYPO3, you can only agree with Mathias Schreiber. “It has been an amazing year so far."

During the TYPO3 core team meeting in January the team decided to introduce strategic initiatives as a way to structure and plan future development. An “initiative” consists of people within the TYPO3 community with a common interest to make long-term improvements in a specific area in TYPO3 including strategic plans, goals, task-breakdown, monitoring of progress and reporting. These initiative might also span over multiple versions like v9 & v10.

At the 15th of March we had our regular team leader meeting.

We are getting closer to a modern version of typo3.org. The next big step forward is the upcoming launch of new.typo3.org.

From 19th to 21th of Feburay our team met in Darmstadt, to prepare the launch of new.typo3.org. As a combined sprint with the marketing team, we had a very productive time, with a lot achievements.
