TYPO3 will be present at CeBIT, the digital industry's biggest event in Hannover from March 1st until March 5th at the Open Source Project Lounge in Hall 2, Booth F44
CeBIT is the digital industry's biggest, most international event. Thanks to its unique combination of exhibition, conferences, keynotes, corporate events and lounges, CeBIT represents an unrivaled tool for doing business and sealing deals.
TYPO3 will be present with a booth at CeBIT 2011 in the Open Source Project Lounge. Fifteen projects have been selected and have been given exhibit space for free at CeBIT. Among those Open Source projects are well known projects like VideoLAN (VLC mediaplayer), XAMPP and Plone.
CeBIT devotes an entire section to the topic of open source and is sponsored by international industry associations and representative bodies such as the Linux Foundation, Linux International, the Free Software Foundation Europe and the LIVE Linux Association. The Open Source Forum will serve as the lively hub of the exhibition, which in turn features a diverse range of open source companies and independent projects. CeBIT "Open Source Solutions", which is in its third year, has already become something of an institution. You can find the Open Source Project Lounge in Hall 2, Booth F44.
Throughout CeBIT, it will feature a selection of top-class presentations focusing on a range of topics relating to open source and Linux. Each day, experts and VIPs from the Linux and open source community will deliver fascinating keynote speeches, opening up new insights and background information and taking a look at what the future holds. The presentations will be streamed live on the Internet and will also be available later in the archive of Linux Magazin Online.
TYPO3 will also be present with a presentation called "TYPO3 - An Open Source Phenomenon". The presentation will be done by Kian Gould and Ben van 't Ende, members of the TYPO3 marketing team, on thursday the 3rd of March from 12:30 - 13:15
