The Global DPI Summit describes itself as “a premier convening of stakeholders in the Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) ecosystem, bringing together representatives from across the globe. […] highlighting groundbreaking technologies, policy frameworks, and implementation models that are reshaping public infrastructure.”

TYPO3 has a lot to talk about, for example due to our recent project in Rwanda and our ongoing project bringing website standardization to Somalia, a collaboration that also includes GIZ and ITU. The event is a place to create new connections and partnerships, as well as promoting open source, our CMS in particular, and our overarching model for sustainable development and societal advancement.

Mathias Bolt Lesniak, TYPO3 Project Ambassador, and Daniel Homorodean, leader of the TYPO3 Expansion Committee, will attend on behalf of our project and the TYPO3 Association.

The Transform Africa Summit describes itself as Africa’s leading annual forum for collaboration on new ways of shaping, accelerating and sustaining Africa’s ongoing digital revolution. The event caters to global and regional leaders from government, business and international organizations.

The summit is organized by Smart Africa, an alliance formed around the Smart Africa Manifesto, a commitment to provide leadership in accelerating socio-economic development through ICT. The manifesto has been endorsed by all heads of state and governments in the African Union.

For TYPO3, this event is a great opportunity to strengthen existing collaboration with governments in Africa and create interest and engagement around the TYPO3 Community Expansion Committee's work in the Global South. With knowledge transfer, using our democratic and not-for-profit open-source CMS as a basis, we can foster local sustainable and independent business. Our vehicle is projects with government websites and digital governance, as exemplified by our project for Open Source Standardization of Government Websites in Rwanda and recent project with the Government of Somalia.

TYPO3 will be present represented by TYPO3 Project Ambassador Mathias Bolt Lesniak and TYPO3 Community Expansion Committee Lead Daniel Homorodean.

Join us in Berlin for another edition of beyond tellerrand. The event is a series of single-track events centered around the point where creativity and technology meet.

TYPO3 is a gold partner of beyond tellerrand's two-day event at Festsaal Kreuzberg in Berlin, Germany. This is a good chance for us to show off our open-source CMS and the related services offered by the TYPO3 Company, as well as to meet and network with old and new friends.

TYPO3 Company representatives will be present at the event.

JoomlaDay Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (or just JoomlaDay DACH) is the Joomla conference for these three German speaking countries, and the three local communities organize this event together.

Joomla is a PHP-based open-source CMS, just like TYPO3. The structure and backend experience differs, but, under the hood, our two communities solve web publishing and content management with similar tools and third-party dependencies. JoomlaDay DACH is a place to meet, exchange ideas, and discuss solutions to the challenges faced by open source software today.

Open Source Matters (OSM), the non-profit organization behind the Joomla project, collaborates with the TYPO3 Association, Drupal Association, and WordPress Project in the Open Website Alliance. Endorsed, but not organized by OSM, this conference will be a chance to strengthen the collaboration between Joomla and TYPO3.

TYPO3 Association Board Secretary Martin Helmich will be present at the event.
