foss-north is a conference for free and open source software (FOSS) and hardware, aiming to provide a meeting place for the Nordic FOSS communities. Taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, it has a central location between the Scandinavian capitals Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm.

For TYPO3 as an open-source CMS project, foss-north is a forum where we can present our CMS, meet, exchange ideas, and discuss solutions to the challenges faced by open source software today. It is also an opportunity to learn more about what's going on in the Nordic FOSS communities.

Official TYPO3 project ambassador and incumbent TYPO3 Association board member Mathias Bolt Lesniak will attend both conference days on his way from Norway to Switzerland for the TYPO3 Association General Assembly and TYPO3Camp Switzerland.

TYPO3 is a PHP-based open-source CMS, just like Drupal. The structure and backend experience differs, but, under the hood, our two communities solve web publishing and content management with similar tools and third-party dependencies. DrupalCon is a place to meet, exchange ideas, and discuss solutions to the challenges faced by open source software today.

DrupalCon Portland is the biggest open-source event in North America in 2024. The conference features many tracks and numerous sessions over four days, 6–9 May.

The Drupal Association is the event organizer, and the event will be an opportunity to strengthen the collaboration in the Open Website Alliance, where the TYPO3 Association is also a member.

Mathias Bolt Lesniak, TYPO3's project ambassador, will be present at the conference and host the session Drupal and FOSS CMS Collaboration in a Competitive Market.

The e-Governance Conference celebrates its tenth anniversary by once again bringing together strategists, decision makers, policy implementers, and donors.

For TYPO3, the previous event was a great success. This year, we will continue to promote our CMS and create interest and engagement around our four-pillar model for using a democratic and not-for-profit open-source project to foster sustainable and independent business as outlined in the TYPO3 Association’s report on Open Source Standardization of Government Websites in Rwanda.

TYPO3 will be present for the second time with our own booth. Stefan Busemann and Tymoteusz Motylewski from the TYPO3 Association Board, as well as Daniel Homorodean, leader of the TYPO3 Community Expansion Committee, will participate in the event.

The AFUP Day  in Poitiers, France, is one of four French-language PHP events organized by branches of the French Association of PHP Users (AFUP) on 24 May 2024. Since its inception in 2019, AFUP Day has been organized as a day of simultaneous local conferences.

AFUP was founded in year 2000, and organizes meetings and conferences to “promote the exchange of expertise and the dissemination of knowledge within the [PHP] community”.

For TYPO3, as a PHP-based content management system, this event is a chance to expand our network and create synergies with the PHP community at large. That's why French TYPO3 Association board member Rachel Foucard will join the event in Poitiers.
