The CMS Building Block specification aims to be a comprehensive model for the standardization of government websites, using content management systems (CMS). By extension, it will also cover the websites of all public institutions, including central agencies, local and regional administration, embassies, other public authorities, and educational institutions.
Everyone involved in, or interested in, the implementation, standardization, and governance of government websites are invited to join the discussion and participate in the specification of the building block. This includes professionals working in the public sector, academia, consultancy, other CMS projects, and relevant technological communities.
The event takes place online at 17:00 CEST

GovStack specifications are quality requirements and principles that describe Building Blocks. These are software modules that can be deployed and combined in a standardized manner, enabling governments to achieve scalable and maintainable government-wide interoperability, as Building Blocks are, by design, composable, and standards-based.
The TYPO3 Community Expansion Committee initiated the CMS Building Block initiative and its members have been central in creating the draft specification that will be presented at this event. Committee Lead Daniel Homorodean and TYPO3 Project Ambassador Mathias Bolt Lesniak are the facilitators of the nascent GovStack CMS Building Block Working Group.
