TYPO3 4.7 Release Candidate 2 released

As a last step in our roadmap towards TYPO3 4.7.0 we released the second Release Candidate for TYPO3 4.7 today. We are going to publish the final stable version on Tuesday 24th of April - which is exactly one week from now. Being the last .0 release in the line of TYPO3 4.x an era of Enterprise Content Management will come to its end cumulating in a gorgeous release. We apologize for the inconvenience with our first Release Candidate which accidently had been released including "master branch" (6.0 development state) and therefore carried high potential to break incompatible extensions or configuration.
By now, the Release Scripts have been fixed and we are now able to proudly present a the new Release Candidate of TYPO3 4.7. A release candidate represents a version we regard as candidate for the final Release - if no blocking bugs come up. We advise to upgrade live installations and create new projects based on TYPO3 version 4.7. TYPO3 4.7 ships with an interesting set of new features, new possibilities and bug fixes.
