The active TYPO3 CMS 7 development release cycle comes to an end, as the final 7 LTS version will be published on November 10th, 2015. After that, the 7 branch will continue to be maintained for 3 years, and the work on TYPO3 v8 will be kicked off. For our efforts in the last year, and the feedback we got, all contributions to this version, be it code, design, concepts, sponsoring etc, we consider as renaissance for TYPO3. After all, the future of TYPO3 CMS was unclear for a long time, and due to all these efforts in the last year, we all now know that TYPO3 CMS 7 has been only the beginning of the new era. For this matter, our friends at <link http: www.studioflox.de>Studio Flox worked on a video about our long lasting history, which Mathias Schreiber and me took to start our keynote for TYPO3 CMS 7 at the TYPO3 Conference in Amsterdam last week.
