Dear Web Professionals and TYPO3 Enthusiasts,
We are pleased to announce the first TYPO3 conference in the United States.
This is an additional conference adding to the well-known European conference. We hope that this gives the many U.S. based companies a chance to meet TYPO3.
Now is your chance to input your ideas for presentations of papers or tutorials. At the moment, only an abstract is needed, which describes your ideas, and will gives the attendees a chance to understand what you will be talking about. If your presentation is accepted, you will be informed and then you will have about 3 months to write and submit your paper. Whether you want to present a paper or a tutorial, at this point, you only need to provide a short abstract.
These are the important dates:
Start call for papers: November 7th 2008
End call for papers: December 10th 2008
End of committee evaluation: December 17th 2008
Notification of speakers: December 19th 2008
Start Registration: December 21th 2008
End early bird registration: February 15th 2009
Final papers due: March 15th 2009
End of regular registration: April 4th 2009
The papers will be published in the conference proceedings which are handed out to all conference attendees. If you have any questions, please use the form at <link http: t3con09-dallas.typo3.org contact.html>

At T3CON09-Dallas, you will meet TYPO3 professionals and core developers and will have ample opportunities to exchange your ideas with inspiring like-minded people. This year we also invited a few presenters from outside the immediate TYPO3 community to speak about related topics and influential developments likely to impact TYPO3 in the near future.
T3CON09 will take place 16th-18th April, Dallas, TX. Exact details will follow on the website when they are available.
