Tour operator from Munich invests in the Enterprise Content Management specialist TYPO3.
Munich, 18 March 2010 – The tour operator FTI is now Platinum Sponsor of the TYPO3 Association. The Munich based travel organisation already uses TYPO3 for their website for quite some time. "By upgrading to Platinum Sponsorship FTI as a technical outrider wants to support innovative partners in developing their technologies even further.", says FTI CEO Boris Raoul. The Platinum Sponsorship comes at an annual fee of 10,000 EUR. FTI now is the fourth company worldwide that has become Platinum Sponsor of the TYPO3 Association. Until now AOE media GmbH, the Swiss Online-Marketing-Agency CS2 – Creative Solutions GmbH and the Web-Hosting-specialist Mittwald CM Service GmbH have been the only Platinum Sponsors. FTI is the first Platinum Sponsor which does not offer TYPO3 services but is a TYPO3 user. In the tourism sector TYPO3 is already a widespread Content Management System. It is used by many organisers and service providers with great success. "TYPO3s excellent flexibility and security standards maybe the main reason.", says Søren Schaffstein, Press Officer of the TYPO3 Association. "With FTI we are very happy to have one of the leading travel organisations in Germany with us."
