Today, the TYPO3 community released the second alpha version of TYPO3 4.5. We continue on track to reach the goal of releasing 4.5.0 with long time support in January 2011.

After having participated in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) the second time we are looking back at a truely successful summer where five students worked on projects for TYPO3 4.x, FLOW3, and TYPO3 5.0.
