Frontend Editing a.k.a Backend-less work for editors has been a long awaited feature for TYPO3, and after Pixelant’s successful crowdfunding campaign last year, people are eager to start working with this feature.

The TYPO3 Association introduces a special membership type for universities and research institutions. Many academic institutions worldwide are already using the Content Management System (CMS) TYPO3. In Germany alone, approximately 460 public and private university websites are based on the CMS.

A special membership type for universities, research institutions and colleges has been introduced by the TYPO3 Association. “We would like to play our part in furthering the development of TYPO3,” says Daniel Fehrle, leader of the TYPO3 Academic Committee.

The TYPO3 Community announces the versions 7.6.16 LTS and 8.6.1 of the TYPO3 Enterprise Content Management System.

Karlsruhe-based punkt.de increases its commitment to TYPO3 and happily joins as the sixteenth TYPO3 Platinum Member. Starting in February 2017, punkt.de changed its status from TYPO3 Association Gold Member to TYPO3 Association Platinum Member.

The core team is proud to announce TYPO3 v8.6 has been released today. This sprint release is an important and last step before TYPO3 8 LTS scheduled to be published in April 2017. With one exception, TYPO3 v8.6 defines the feature set of the LTS version and brings an impressive set of changes, many of them turning preparations from earlier version 8 releases into visible functionality.
