The TYPO3 Core Team met at trivago in Düsseldorf from January 10th to 11th to set the course for the team's future working modes and topics.

From 18th to 20th of January our team met in Frankfurt at the DKD office. For some of the participants, the urban life of Frankfurt was an adventure in itself. This was the first sprint in 2018 and the eight sprint for the typo3.org relaunch project. The countdown for launch has now started. The sprint was well-attended. Especially welcome was the four-person front-end development and testing team from Ukraine.

The EAB has made a strategic selection of 9 topics to pursue from a pool of 17 submitted budget ideas.

Font Awesome is a go-to font toolkit used by thousands of websites worldwide. The TYPO3 Association made the strategic decision to fund the Font Awesome 5 crowdfunding campaign. This ensures that the TYPO3 logo is included in the latest release of the popular icon font.

The waiting has come to an end! Today, the TYPO3 Community proudly presents the first version of the v9 branch. TYPO3 version 9.0 marks the start of five planned sprint releases on our way to the next Long Term Support (LTS) release.

Report from the Board and EAB QSA in Munich, Germany, 28th–29th November 2017.

This article provides an insight into our plans for the next LTS (Long Term Support) version of TYPO3 v9. The LTS release is scheduled for early October 2018 and during development and stabilization phase, several sprint releases will be published.

At the 17th of November we had our regular team leader meeting.

From 2nd to 4th of November our team met in Essen at the Unperfekthaus: Another step towards our new typo3.org sites. We are looking for a lead designer.

From 12th to 14th of October our team met in Stuttgart at cronIT office. We set our team three main goals.
