TYPO3 at CeBIT 2006

The annual CeBIT exhibition is scheduled for March 9-15 in Hannover, Germany. TYPO3 will again be represented among the exhibitors, but will also be featured in the lecture program for the first time.

March 9

The first day of CeBIT begins with a series of lectures titled "Open Source Success Stories" to be held in the LinuxForum (Hall 6, A52). Following the keynote by Jon "Maddog" Hall, Klaus Knopper will give a lecture on "The Next 100 Years Of Linux And Open Source" and Daniel Hinderink will speak on the topic of "Success Factors and Development of TYPO3".

March 10

Between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, the TYPO3 Partner Network will be presenting "TYPO3 In Practice - Case Studies On The Leading Open Source CMS" in the Convention Center (Hall 14). Within this presentation will be three different case studies on TYPO3 usage.

March 13

The roundtable "IRC Future Match 2006" will focus on several open source projects, including TYPO3.

March 14

From 2:00pm to 2:45pm, the CeBIT forum "Software and Services for IT Professionals" will hear a presentation on "The Performance of TYPO3 as a Web Content Management Framework". This presentation will be delivered by Bodo Eichstädt of wmdb Systems GmbH & Co. KG in Hall 3, B19. In addition to these presentations, exhibition booths will be set up by the TYPO3 Partner Network (Hall 3, B65) and the TYPO3 hosting specialist Mittwald Medien (Hall 3, D07). TARGET-E, a TYPO3 and e-business agency from Munich, will be sharing an exhibition booth with BVDW in the Market Solutions Area (Hall 4, B62).
