In only one week since the release of the first release candiate, we managed to fix a lot of open issues, over 50 issues have been tackled. Again, many of them were related to the FIle Abstraction Layer. For example we enabled a proper handling for meta data of referenced files, so that editors can now decide on field basis if they want to override the data stored in files, use or empty it.
Most importantly the FAL file processing has been reworked to more robust. For that we needed to change the database schema. User of previous versions must do a database compare in the install tool to get the second release candidate running properly.
In the last week before the release, we will still be working on bugfixes and additionally on some minor styling cleanups.
Feedback is very welcome!
