Every year, we're heading for a new round of people responsible for merging code into TYPO3 Core's code basis.
Today, I’m proud to announce the people behind future Core development:
Component Mergers
Component mergers have a clear vision for one specific topic, and merge proposed changes that touch their area:
Component | Responsible person |
---|---|
Extbase & Plugin API | Alexander Schnitzler |
CLI Integration | Helmut Hummel |
Fluid + Performance/Caching | Claus Due |
Persistence & Database | Manuel Selbach |
Issue Reporting & Triage | Riccardo De Contardi |
SEO | Richard Haeser |
Dashboard | Richard Haeser |
Tests & Testing Framework | Anja Leichsenring |
Content Import & Export API | Tobi Kretschmann |
Documentation | Daniel Siepmann |
Framework Mergers
Framework mergers will be reviewing and merging your proposed changes to the core, if they fit our coding standards and common API development - they tackle all the other parts of Core that aren't exactly fitting into a specific area or component:
- Andreas Fernandez
- Benjamin Franzke
- Christian Eßl
- Daniel Goerz
- Frank Nägler
- Georg Ringer
- Helmut Hummel

The TYPO3 Product Team, consisting of Susanne Moog, Oliver Hader and Tymoteusz Motylewski, and myself are happy to continue with people who re-applied and who joined our group the first time - building a better TYPO3 experience for everybody in the future.
At this point I would like to thank Arno Schoon, Daniel Sattler, Josef Glatz and Ralf Zimmermann for their efforts in the last 12 months.
Happy coding, reviewing and merging!
FYI: For those who want to take on responsibility: The next merger application phase will start March 2021. Until then, keep handing patches, join initiatives and support us by getting our review and issue queue down.
