The version 10.4.13 of the TYPO3 Enterprise Content Management System has just been released.

Meet Patrick Gaumond, Technical Lead of Québec.ca, the government website of the French-speaking Canadian province and the entire population’s official source for Covid-19-related information. During the pandemic, the site’s been handling a million or more hits a day with no downtime at all. Patrick has been proudly flying the TYPO3 flag since 2003, and today we talk about why he's chosen to stay with it all this time.

In 2021 four positions on the Board of the TYPO3 Association will be re-elected. In addition, there are three positions on the Business Control Committee (BCC) up for re-election.

A special year comes to an end. The typo3.org Team can look back on a good year, as many projects and tasks were completed, even though there was only one in-person Team Sprint.

TYPO3 Association members were asked to rate submitted budget ideas for the “Innovation, Education and Events” pool in the annual budget poll. The Board of the TYPO3 Association decided to distribute the funds as widely as possible.

Let’s not beat around the bush: 2020 was—mildly speaking—a tough year. The reasons which made the current year so terrible are evident. However, we don’t want to linger on the negative but instead focus on the positive things that these rather exceptional circumstances created.
