Sentry With TYPO3 (and Other Web Applications)

Sentry is a performance monitoring and incident reporting system that helps detect, debug, and resolve errors in live systems more quickly. Especially for issues that only occur in production, Sentry is a valuable tool for reproducing and analyzing errors efficiently.

In this German-language talk, we will provide a brief introduction to Sentry and demonstrate how it can be integrated into TYPO3 and other web applications. In addition to connecting it to PHP applications and troubleshooting errors, we will also explore how Sentry can be used to set up Content Security Policies (CSP).

But Sentry offers even more: It enables not only server-side error tracking but also frontend performance monitoring – a feature we actively use. One of Sentry’s key differentiators is its ability to capture client-side errors and, if desired, collect user feedback on issues. These capabilities set Sentry apart from other solutions and will be a key part of our talk.
