The Organizational Structure of the TYPO3 Association

The TYPO3 Association has three main bodies

The TYPO3 Association is structured around three main bodies that defines direction, handles daily operations and strategy, and oversees finances and transparency: the General Assembly, Board, and Business Control Committee.

Additionally, the Association fully owns the TYPO3 Company (TYPO3 GmbH), a commercial service company. The Board has also delegated certain responsibilities to subject-matter experts, listed on the officers page.

Most of the daily activities take place in community teams and committees.

General Assembly

The General Assembly is the annual members’ meeting. It serves as the highest authority within the Association, setting the overall direction and making key decisions.

Board

The Board handles the day-to-day operations and is also responsible for budgeting and making long-term strategic decisions.

Business Control Committee

The Business Control Committee (BCC) oversees the Association’s activities and finances, ensuring transparency and accountability.
