Description

In spring 2014, another relaunch for the wolfcraft website was completed. This time, the website was put into a completely new design, which overall is more up-to-date and most important of all: responsive.

Since the latest TYPO3 LTS version 4.5 was already in use for this website, the technical basis was kept the same. Only some adjustments were made to keep the basis on an up-to-date level. Of course, there were also some changes to make sure that the website would work properly as a responsive website.
The main special technical property of the new website is the product catalogue, which currently offers around 2.500 items. MFC created and integrated an extension on top of TYPO3 Commerce, which allows the import of the multilingual content from the Product Information Management System (PIM) viaMedici via an xml interface and added fluid compatible rendering to TYPO3 commerce.
For the responsive layout especially the product detail pages had to be rearranged so that the pages can now be operated comfortably on all devices, no matter what size they are.
The website offers an integrated search function which covers the entire website including the product catalogue (extension: indexed_search).

Other features in this project:
-       Separate news sections for different target groups and languages (news)
-       Trader search for traders in European countries (locator)
-       Online application form and contact form (powermail)
-       Organization module for digital media assets (dam)

The website successfully relaunched in March 2014 and is available in five different languages: German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
In the future, the website will be further developed and expanded.
