It has been discovered that the extension "Front End User Registration" (sr_feuser_register) is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting.

Problem Description: Failing to properly sanitize user-supplied input the extension is open to Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

Solution: An updated version 3.0.2 is available from the TYPO3 extension manager and at http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/sr_feuser_register/3.0.2/. Users of the extension are advised to update the extension as soon as possible.
