CeBIT: Team TYPO3

In less then two weeks, from March, 6th until March, 10th, CeBIT is on again! In Hall 6 at booth J11 you will find an extra-ordinary representation of five Open Source CMS-es, TYPO3, Magento, Joomla, Drupal andWordPress.

Mittwald was so kind as to offer a huge amount of space in one big booth to have these Open Source CMS-es represent themselves.

In this article we will introduce you to the TYPO3 team that consists of Peter Pröll, Ingo Renner, Frederic Gaus and Ben van ’t Ende. You have probably heard some these names before. This article will reveal how you know them.

Peter Pröll

Peter Pröll was until shortly member of the board and is chosen as member of the Expert Advisory Board.

He is member of the TYPO3 Marketing Team and accompanies the Certification Team exams for Certified Integrator.

Ingo Renner

TYPO3 Core Developer Ingo Renner is involved in coordinating the participation of TYPO3 in the Google Summer of Code project. He is leading developer of the extension “Apache Solr for TYPO3”and was release manager for TYPO3 version 4.2.

Ingo is also responsible for the TYPO3 social media activities and therefore engaged for TYPO3 on Twitter and Facebook. He is a frequent speaker at various events about TYPO3.

Frederic Gaus

Frederic Gaus is member of the board of the TYPO3 Association and mainly responsible for inbound communication, trademark rights and the professional services listing, which will be built especially for the new TYPO3 website. His commitment to bring TYPO3 also makes him a marketing team member.

Ben van ’t Ende

Ben van ’t Ende is full-time TYPO3 Community Manager. In his function he helps to coordinate the work between the teams and with the effort of realising national TYPO3 User groups across the world. Ben is also contact person for community affairs in general.
