Announcing TYPO3 Bug Day

Categories: Community Created by Ingo Renner
1st TYPO3 BugDay on June 27th, 2008

The TYPO3 Core Team is proud to announce the first TYPO3 BugDay.

The current development process with the TYPO3 Core is faster than ever. A lot more people are testing TYPO3 and find new issues with the software every day. Therefore we want to have one day to make our bugtracker clean again. We need your help for that on June 27th!

If you're an extension developer and never really got around the TYPO3 core, this is your chance to get insight. If you always had an annoyance that drove you crazy, then let us know.

This is how it's going to work:

Until the end of the week, go to our bugs.typo3.org and see for bugs that are easy to fix (no features!), and add a tag "bugday" to it, so we have something to do on the 27th.

On the bugday itself, the Core Team Members Ingo Renner and Benjamin Mack will be responsible and available for your questions. They will be availble on IRC, where you can offer your help and pick a bug. After fixing and creating a patch for the issue , you can send the bug to the Core list, where the Core Team will review your patch.

So long, for an even better TYPO3 4.3
