One of the TYPO3 Association's goals is to bring the community together through events for informational and educational purposes. TYPO3 GmbH supports the committee and takes care of the significant official TYPO3 events organization, such as the Developer Days. In addition, the TYPO3 Event Committee assists, if necessary, the organizers of smaller TYPO3 events like Camps by providing them with helpful information and advice.
Current Activities
The TYPO3 Event Committee is working on the following activities:
- Regular Meetings with interested parties, such as TYPO3 Community events organizers and the TYPO3 GmbH
- Preparing and maintaining the TYPO3 Community event organizers handbook
- Reporting on its insights to Association Members and other stakeholders

The actual official events are:
- the TYPO3 Developer Days (T3DD)
- the TYPO3 Conference (T3CON).
Are the TYPO3 sprints organised by the TYPO3 GmbH official events?
No, the TYPO3 sprint organised by the TYPO3 GmbH are not considered as events. It is not a matter of size, but a matter of objective. Events are meant to bring the community together and promote TYPO3, while sprints are reserved for TYPO3 Teams and Initiatives to work on their tasks and produce results.
