TYPO3 Events

Due to the relaunch we removed the possibility to add and edit events in the frontend. If you are responsible for an event like a local usergroup, please get in contact with the t3o team via Slack or t3o(at)typo3.org.

After a successful camp in 2018, we are ready for the next round and for the next camp in May 2019. Our goal is to bring the community together and it doesn't matter if you are a TYPO3 Developer, Integrator, Project Manager/Consultant or Decisionmaker, or even if you are just interested in TYPO3, you are welcome to share your knowledge and experience with the community. We are looking forward to seeing you there and would love to welcome you at the TYPO3camp Schweiz 2019.

The India TYPO3 User Group (iTUG) meets every first Friday of the month at 5:00 pm with TYPO3 Enthusiast. Everyone interested in TYPO3, whether beginner or professional, is welcome!

Inspire People To Share, Love TYPO3 :)

The main purpose of the event is to get the amount of open patches down. You can take a look at the amount of open issues and other stats and diagrams on forger.

We set up a Facebook Events page where you can sign up.

The TYPO3 GmbH staff and me in particular are really looking forward to meeting you for a day of contribution. You might even find your name in an issue of our monthly Developer Appreciation Day (DAD) articles.

Yours, Anja Leichsenring

The focus of the workshop is:

  • Convert all source code to PHP 7.2 minimum and implement strict types. This is why the name of the workshop is Fluid 3.0, as this conversion is the basis for the next major release.

  • A major refactoring of the internal components to unify Fluid’s patterns. Fluid is using a variety of classes to do very similar things. The goal of this task is to unify these into a smaller set of more generic components that are able to perform all the current tasks in Fluid, and much more.

  • Improvements for documentation and documentation generating. First of all, Fluid needs better, dedicated documentation and new documentation is required for the new capabilities added by the refactoring of Fluid’s internal components. Secondly, Fluid is capable of automatically generating documentation in the form of XSD files and being in the same location provides us with a great opportunity to improve this feature to work better with the way documentation is presented on the TYPO3 web site.

Expect specials like social events, a certification offer and some more.

We also want to start ticket sales even this year. There have also been several promises from people who want to take part in the organisation next year to make the event even bigger, more varied and better. That makes us very happy and for this we have to restructure ourselves internally accordingly, arrange organisation meetings and more. We will also inform you about the extended team as soon as it is ready for decision. Until then: Save the Date!
