TYPO3 Code Of Conduct

Categories: Community Created by ben van 't ende
For some time already we have the Code Of Conduct on typo3.org. It is time to put some extra focus on it as our community is growing and getting more active by the day.
As the TYPO3 Community is growing and is getting ever more active it is time to lay down some guidelines you can use as inspiration or to fall back onto in difficult times. The Code of Conduct is based on the Ubuntu Code of Conduct and is used by several Open Source projects already. We have adapted the Code of Conduct to our situation. The Code of Conduct will help us all in having some reference to what to do in case of any conflict and advises you in a more general way on how to behave in a project where cooperation in a harmonious way and dependency on each other is vital for the project. Many of you participate in the TYPO3 project and some of you have a larger responsibility in that they lead a project or are in any other way involved in steering a process within the community. For these people there is also the Leadership Code of Conduct that holds up slightly higher standards. Please refer anyone to the Code of Conduct and have them read it to get inspired.
