The time is finally over that you need an extra login for every galaxy in the TYPO3 universe. As a first step, we enabled the so-called single-signon service for bugs.typo3.org.
At the first visit of bugs.typo3.org, every user will start with a new, blank bugtracker account.
However, you can regain all your old bugtracker data easily. When you are logged in to the bugtracker, just go to "My Account" -> "Merge accounts" and enter your old username and password there.
All your data, permissions, bugs, comments, notifications, etc can be merged!
We'd like to thank the guys over at single-signon.com for their great work and the good support. Setting up their single-signon solution and customizing it to our needs was a pleasure.
We are planning to implement single-signon for other sites too.
