TYPO3-20080513-4: Multiple vulnerabilities in extension Statistics (ke_stats)

It has been discovered that the extension Statistics (ke_stats) is vulnerable to Blind SQL Injection attacks. Also, a Cross Site Scripting issue has been found.

Component Type: Third party extension. This extension is not part of the TYPO3 default installation.

Affected Versions: Version 0.1.2 and below

Vulnerability Type: Cross Site Scripting, Blind SQL Injection

Severity: HIGH

Problem Description:  Failing to properly sanitize user-supplied input the extension is open to SQL injections and Cross Site Scripting flaws (XSS).

Solution: An updated version 0.1.3 is available from the TYPO3 extension manager and at typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/ke_stats/0.1.3/.
