Video tutorials and podcasting has a long tradition in the TYPO3 project. In 2004 and 2005 the first video tutorials were published and were soon accepted as a vivid format for spreading knowledge.

In 2006 Kasper started to publish his first video podcasts which were not only restricted to tutorials but give a great overview of what's happening in the TYPO3 community. Kasper's PodKast has since then become our very special TYPO3 TV channel.

With the new version 5.0 and FLOW3 on the horizon, there was a need for a Channel 2, so Robert took the initiative to create a second TYPO3 related podcast, more focussing on the future trends in the TYPO3 universe.
