1.1. Introduction

What does it do?

  1. This extension provides an interface to search a website that has been categorized with EXT: toi_category. If you already know EXT: category_pages written by Till Korten, mda_searchbycategories should look familiar to you.

  2. The Interface is divided into main categories and subcategories. At this moment, there are only two levels available. Each main category can hold as many subcategories as needed.

  3. The extension consists of two plugins, one to display the categories for the search and one to display the results. Please have a look at the screenshots.

  4. This extension makes use of the IRRE interface, therefore it is only suitable for TYPO3 >= 4.0
