HL-DAM-gallery is a DAM-aware photo gallery extension. In contrast to other extensions, you don't upload your images just for the gallery, but use the ones already indexed by DAM. The gallery itself is done by a normal image element, using dam_ttcontent. With this, you have total control over the selection and sequence of your images. Each image can be used in as many galleries as you like.
HL-DAM-gallery displays the selected images on a new page, together with either meta data from the DAM backend, or IPTC records embedded in the images. A row of thumbnails of the previous and next images is also displayed. It is possible to show the images as a slide show. Alternatively, the image can be displayed as an animated overlay over the gallery page. This effect is done using the Lightbox-library.
If the images contain GPS position records in the EXIF section, a Google Maps based map can be displayed on the single view page, showing the position of where the image was taken.
Note: If you upgrade from previous versions, check your TypoScript configurations. While all keys in former releases where under “plugin.tx_hldamgallery_pi1”, some have now been moved to “plugin.tx_hldamgallery”, as they are more generic.

Thanks to Kasper Skårhøj for TYPO3!
Thanks to Rene Fritz for the great work on dam, dam_ttcontent, ...
Thanks to Jake Olefsky for the IPTC lib.
Thanks to Lokesh Dhakar for Lightbox.
The lightbox integration is based on the work of Julian Kleinhans, who implemented a stand-along extension for using lightbox with Typo3.
