1.1. Introduction

What does it do?

  1. This extension provides a password secured download possibility. Therefore a new Content Element is established. In the Content Element you can define a download title. You have to define a file for download and a password. Optionally you can define a comma separated list of users, which are allowed to download files. In this case the Frontend output will show a user field additionally to the standard password field. The Frontend output is template based.

  2. In the Backend module you can see three variants of download statistics.

  3. The extension was inspired by the extension ml_codeddownload , but the functionalities are completely different.
