4.17. Configuring SMTP

To send the Newsletter with SMTP, you only have to enable this feature from the extension manager (Ext Manager > Direct Mail).

Before enabling this feature, you have to make sure, that PEAR:mail is installed on your server. To install PEAR:mail you can use one of the following extensions:

  1. PEAR Mail Library (jr_pear_mail)

  2. PEAR Manager (pear)
