Reporting bugs, requesting features

If you have found a bug in TYPO3 or has a suggestion for an improvement of the system the first thing you have to do is find the right place to ask!

Since TYPO3 is divided into the a) core and b) extensions you will have to identify which extension is responsible for your problem/suggestion and then go to the extension page, submit a topic in the support forum or write directly to the author of the extension. Alternatively, the extension might already be registered in our Bugtracker if the extension author decided to used it.

If the bug/suggestion is about the core of the system, you can find more information at the bug fixing pages.
