3.7. Step 6: Add the Sermon Resource Types

The final installation step is to import the Sermon Resource Types. The import process is designed to reduce the initial effort required to create the sermon resource records needed to configure the SMS. When you are done, you should see many new records in the SysFolder.

  1. Refer to Illustration 14

    . Using the Extension Manager Module (1), select Loaded extensions from the drop-down Menu (2).

  2. Scroll down to the WEC Sermon Management System extension and click on the link (3).

  2. Click on the filename (5) and save the file to your local computer.

  3. Leave the Extension Manager by clicking on the List module.

    .  Click on the Sermon Storage Folder's Icon (6) and select More options from the popup (7) and then Import from .t3d. Click on the Upload tab (8).

  5. Click the Browse button (9) and select the tx_wec_sermons_ resource_ types.t3d file from your local computer.

  6. Click the Upload files button (10). Click on the Import tab (11).

  7. Refer to Illustration 17. Click the Import button (12) and then OK in the dialog box (“Are you sure?”).

  8. Finally, click on the List module to exit this form. Click on the Sermons SysFolder in the page tree and now you should see a list of SMS Resource Types. A Resource Type defines a kind of resource you can associate with a sermon such as an audio MP3 file. You can also add your own Resource types.
