3.3. Step 3: Create the Necessary SMS Pages

There are only two pages to create for the SMS to function correctly. The first will be the page that's viewed when someone wants to see your sermons. The second page will serve as the directory (file cabinet) for all your sermons and their resources.

See www.webempoweredchurch.com/support/howtos for instructions on how to create a new page if you are unfamiliar with the process.

  1. Using either the List Module or the Page Module, create a new page in the directory or subdirectory of you choice, and give it a page title like  Sermons.

Tip: Create the Sermons page in a subdirectory such as Learn and Grow or wherever you will add Christian education pages and files.

Illustration 6: Creating a SysFolder

  1. Next, create a new page “in” Sermons (making this page a subpage of the Sermons' page). However, make the page type a SysFolder (see (1) Illustration 6) and title it Sermon Storage Folder (2) or another descriptive name. The SMS will  retrieve sermon data stored in this SysFolder to display on the sermons page.
