Tip: If you have installed a newer version of the WEC Starter Package on your host, you can skip all the way down to Step 5 – Adding Your Content, since the Sermons 
Management System extension has already been installed and initially configured for you.
Note: 
The installation of the SMS extension must be done by someone who has been granted Backend administration access. If you are using the BasicAdmin login, you will be unable to install the extension.
Caution: Be sure to follow the instructions both completely and in the listed order to ensure a successful installation.
Caution: The SMS extension requires TYPO3 version 4.0 or higher. Installing the extension on an earlier version will render the extension unusable.
Login to your website's TYPO3 Backend using an administrator's login.
- Illustration 4: Installing the WEC_API Extension
Refer to Illustration 44: Using the Extension Manager (1), select Import extensions from the Menu dropdown box (2).
Click the Retrieve/Update button (3) and wait for the repository list to be loaded into TYPO3.
Type wec_api in the List or look up all extensions text box (4).
When the new screen appears, click the Install Extension icon.
Again, a new screen will appear asking you Make Updates. Click the button and the wec_api will finish installing.
Note: In addition to the required wec_api extension, we recommend installing the cron_rte_cleanenc extension. This extension removes invalid characters that can be entered via the RTE (Rich Text Editor). However, because this is extension alters the output of all RTE inputs, it could impact other extensions and content elements, so it's installation is optional. To install the extension, repeat Step One, except type cron_rte_cleanenc in the List or look up all extensions text box.
