This is just a shared PHP-library for functionalities of 'skin_grey_2' and 'tm_contentaccess'. It is requred for tm_contentaccess but not for skin_grey_2. This document explains shared configurations
Other authors have done following implementations:
Peter Klein – alternative top menu for skin_grey_2.
Michiel Roos – collapse/expand functionality for skin_grey_2. The possibility to use horizontal collapse/expand for page/file navigation tree has been taken from the plugin 'skingreyman' .
Bernhard Kraft – some code for 'User > Setup' module.
This plugin has originally done just separating XCLASSes, which are common with skin_grey_2 and tm_contentaccess, into new plugin. In order to avoid XCLASSes in skin plugin all XCLASSes, which skin_grey_2 used in older versions, have been moved into this plugin.
Later after some request into this plugin has been added also functionalities of Kasper's 'topapps' plugin, which was in Typo3 4.1.x versions before the final 4.1.0.
