The installation of this extension is very simple. Just connect to the Typo3 Extension Repository and download «Set Page Type CSM» (setpagetype), located in the backend section.

Just click on a editable page in the navigation frame of the Typo3 backend to activate the context sensitive menu. You'll notice a new element, placed just after the «Cut» function, called «Set page type». Click on this item to activate the second level menu.

You'll then see a list of the page types you have access to. Simply click on an item of this list to directly change the type of the chosen page.
